Jimmy R. Hensley

Jimmy R. Hensley, 63, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 13, 2013 at 3:45 a.m. at his home.

Mr. Hensley graduated from Wheelwright High School in Wheelwright, KY in 1969. He worked at Our Sunday Visitor in Huntington as a machine operator for 14 years and was a member of the Graphics Communication Union Local 17M. He also worked at Kunkle Foundry in Andrews for 30 years and was a member of the Steelworkers Local 6065 in Andrews.

He was born May 31, 1950 in Melvin, KY to Ernest and Dorothy Marie Little Hensley. He married Sue Chapman on July 9, 1971, and she survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Beverly (Jeremy) Rosen; three brothers, Cecil (Alpha) Hensley, of Warren, and Larry (Myrtle) Hensley and Ronnie (Teena) Hensley, both of Huntington; five sisters, Brenda (Collie) Branham and Tammy Mosley, both of Melvin, KY; Regina (Ricky) Tackett and Linda (Steve) Kohler, both of Huntington; and Wanda (William) Holbrook, of Pikeville, KY; and two granddaughters, Kaylynn Rosen and Olivia Rosen.

Calling is Friday, Nov. 15, 2013 from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 West Park Drive, Huntington. Funeral services will be held Saturday, Nov. 16, 2013 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. Rev. Steve Kohler and Rev. Randy Hensley officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Huntington.
