Hope Redmond

Hope Redmond, 48, of Hartford City, IN, died Thursday, Sept. 19, 2013, at 5:29 a.m. at her residence.

Mrs. Redmond was a homemaker. She attended Delphos High School.

She was born Tuesday, May 18, 1965, in Huntington, to Perry and Sherry Caley Phillips. Her mother survives. She married Albert M. Redmond on June 21, 2005, in Hartford City. Her husband survives.

Additional survivors include a daughter, Cassandra Odom, of Montpelier; a son, Derek Humphrey, of Bluffton; a brother, Daniel (Karla) Gephart, of Poneto; a sister, Dawn (John) Coleman, of Hartford City; a stepfather, James M. Gephart, of Englewood, FL; a father-in-law, Pete (Pat) Richmond, of Hartford City; a mother-in-law, Pat Redmond, of Hartford City; two brothers-in-law, Mark Benedict and Patrick Redmond, both of Hartford City; three sisters-in-law, Becky Ebbert and Beth Jones, both of Hartford City, and Katie Redmond; and seven grandchildren, Austin Feathers, Kadin Duke, Mathew Mckie Norris, Hunter Jostin, Jaydin Duke, Jaylynn Duke and Riley Williams.

She was preceded in death by a son, Jacob M. Feathers.

Calling is Monday, Sept. 23, 2013, from noon to 4 p.m. at Walker & Glancy Funeral Home, 109 W. Windsor St., Montpelier. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Sept. 24, 2013, at 4 p.m. with calling an hour prior. Rev. Troy Kaufman will officiate. Interment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Montpelier.
