Evelyn F. Fultz

Evelyn Faye Parkison Fultz, 98, a resident of The Heritage of Huntington, died Thursday, June 6, 2013, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.

Mrs. Fultz, a former resident of Fort Wayne, had been active in Methodist churches in Fort Wayne and Auburndale, FL, and was a founding member of Aldersgate United Methodist church. She had been involved in many philanthropic organizations, including the Christmas Bureau. She spent winters in Winter Haven, FL, for more than 40 years.

She was born Feb. 23, 1915, in Fort Wayne. She married Otto Fultz, who preceded her in death in 2004 after 55 years of marriage.

Survivors include a son, Tim Fultz, of Angola; a daughter, Betsy (Steve) Simmons, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Marilyn Roehm, of Winter Haven, FL; seven grandchildren, Jim (Chris) Fultz and Greg (Chris) Fultz, both of St. Louis, MO; Robb (Kim) Fultz, of Huntington; Dr. Jennifer (Brian) Redmon, of Humbolt, AZ; Molly (Rob) Dornseif and Andrew (Ellen) Simmons, both of Fort Wayne; and Libby Simmons, of Indianapolis; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

A service was held on Monday, June 10, 2013, at the Covington Memorial Gardens mausoleum chapel.

Memorial gifts may be made to Waynedale United Methodist Church.
