Anna Mae Lynn

Anna Mae Lynn, 95, of Huntington, IN, died Monday, May 20, 2013, at 6:20 p.m. at the Tipton House, in Huntington.

Mrs. Lynn had worked at Schacht Rubber Company and later was employed as a secretary at St. Peter's First Community Church, where she served as choir director. She also led the junior choir at the Congregational Church of Huntington.

A lifelong Huntington resident, she was a member of Delta Theta Tau Sorority and the Huntington County Woman's Club. She had been active in the March of Dines Foundation and the Huntington County and Indiana Democrat Party organizations.

She was born June 30, 1917, in Huntington to Arthur and Clara McNally Elsasser. She married Charles E. Lynn on Sept. 2, 1939, in Huntington. He preceded her in death on July 18, 2002.

Survivors include a son, Charles E. (Norma) Lynn II, of Cape Coral, FL; four sisters, Kathryn "Kay" Delauter and Mildred Binder, both of Huntington; Maxine Ungerer, of Twinsburg, OH; and Betty Baumgardner, of North Manchester; four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren; and eight great-great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, May 24, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Saturday, May 25, 2013, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Raymond Scribner will officiate. Entombment will be at Gardens of Memory, Huntington County.
