Norma J. Lewis

Norma Jean Lewis, 49, of Huntington, died Monday, May 13, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at her home.

Mrs. Lewis had been employed for 20 years as an attendant for Bertsch Vending Company "AVI" Food Systems, in Wabash.

She was born July 23, 1963, in Huntington to William McDaniel and Simmie Downey Black. Her mother survives in Huntington. She married Jeffrey A. Lewis on June 1, 1991, in Huntington, and he survives.

Additional survivors include Brad Barrett and Cory Lewis, both of Glendale, AZ, and Ryan (Mary Ellen) Lewis and Zach Lewis, both of Huntington; six sisters, Kay Stanley, Tammy McDaniel, Tamara (James) Scalf, Vicki (Ervin) Stults, Paula Black and Sheila Byrd, all of Huntington; five brothers, William McDaniel and Jerry Dowdy, both of Huntington; Billy (Judy) McDaniel, of Anderson; Steve (Sharron) McDaniel, of Nashville, AR; and David (Gail) McDaniel, of Savannah, GA; eight grandchildren, Paris, Xavier, Thaddeus, Addalyn, Lindsey, Mikayla, Savannah and Kiersten; and her mother-in-law, Carol "Rosalee" Lewis, of Gas City.

Calling is Thursday, May 16, 2013, from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Bailey-Love Mortuary, 35 W. Park Drive, Huntington. A service will be held at the mortuary on Friday, May 17, 2013, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Huntington.
