Billy R. Carr

Billy Ray Carr, 82, of Mt. Ida, AR, and having ties to Huntington County, died Tuesday, April 9, 2013.
Mr. Carr was a veteran of the United Sates Navy and served in the Korean War.
He was born Jan. 19, 1931, in Graysonia, AR, to William and Rosa Coomer Carr. He is survived by his wife, Alice Gressley Carr.
Additional survivors include four sons, Michael Ray (Rhonda) Carr, of Mt. Ida, AR, and formerly of Huntington; Randall Wayne (Vicki) Carr, of Pierceton, and formerly of Huntington; Cecil Leroy (Donna) Votra Jr., of New Boston, TX; and Kevin Dewayne (Sheryl) Carr, of Mt. Ida, AR; a daughter-in-law, Ann Carr, of Morristown, CT; two brothers, Clyde Carr, of Hastings, MI, and William Achel, of Beaumont, RX; a sister, Royce Robbins, of Arkadelphia, AR; 16 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren.
A service will be held at a later date.
Memorial gifts may be made to UAMS Cancer Society.
Arkansas Funeral Care, Jacksonville, AR, is in charge of arrangements.
