Delores W. Harber

Delores Wilhelmina Harber, 80, of Columbia City, IN, and having ties to Roanoke, IN, died Monday, April 8, 2013, at 7:30 a.m. at Visiting Nurse Hospice Home, Fort Wayne.

A lifelong resident of Jefferson Township, Whitley County, she had worked at Classic Products, Fort Wayne, and Embroidery Products. She was baptized at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Roanoke, and attended St. Patrick Catholic Church, Arcola, her entire life.

She was born Nov. 17, 1932, in Jefferson Township, Whitley County, to Marion Joseph and Mary Regina Hinen Harber.

She is survived by a sister, Mary Frances Strack, of Fort Wayne.

Calling is Thursday, April 11, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 3:45 p.m., at DeMoney-Grimes Countryside Park Funeral Home, 600 Countryside Drive, Columbia City. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 12, 2013, at 10 a.m., with calling one hour prior to Mass, at St. Patrick Catholic Church, Arcola. Rev. Cyril Fernandes will officiate. Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Roanoke.
