Kenneth H. Ott

Kenneth H. Ott, 78 of South Whitley, IN, and North Webster, IN, and havingt relatives in Bippus, IN, died Friday April 5, 2013, at 9:25 p.m. at Warsaw Meadows Care Center, Warsaw.

Mr. Ott served in the United States Air Force, then worked as a semi-trailer mechanic for Super Valu in Fort Wayne for 22 years. He was a member of American Legion Post 253.

He was born Oct. 5, 1934 in Fort Wayne to Everett and Elsie Sauer Ott. He married Gwendolyn "Skip" Ambler in Columbia City on Jan. 6, 1989. She preceded him in death on Oct. 30, 1998.

Surviving are two daughters, Susan Gossett and Gidget Doss, both of Tennessee; a stepdaughter, Amber (Bob) Beghtel, of Bippus; a stepson, Neil (Alice) Baulkey; five grandchildren, Lanae Ott, of New Paris; Lakin (Alex) Jackson, of Syracuse; and Misty (Stephen) Potter, Philipp Gossett and Caleb Gossett, all of Tennessee; a stepgrandson, Billy Baulkey; and two great-grandchildren.

There will be no visitation or services and private burial will be at a later date.

Preferred memorials are to a charity of the donor's choice in care of Deal-Rice Funeral Home, 338 E. Washington St., Huntington, IN 46750.
