Shirley A. Thompson, 80, of Warren, IN, died Sunday, March 17, 2013, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker. She attended the Church of God in Wabash and Marion.
She was born Sept. 15, 1932, in Eddystone, PA, to Charles and Gertrude Reynolds Kitchen. She married Kenneth E. Thompson on Sept. 22, 1951. He preceded her in death on May 22, 2004.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth C. (Barbara) Thompson, of Huntington, and Scott A. Thompson, of Tipton; a daughter, Karen (Dewayne) Corn, of Sweetser; two sisters, Nancy Meyer and Charolette Holdbovich, both of Pennsylvania; a brother, Charles (Pam) Kitchen, of Florida; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
A service was held Wednesday, March 20, 2013, at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service, North Chapel, Marion, with Rev. Kenneth Thompson officiating. Burial was at Marion National Cemetery, Marion.
