Marlene Hamilton, 64, of Huntington, IN, died Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at Parkview Huntington Hospital.
Mrs. Hamilton was employed as a caregiver by Pathfinder Services.
She was born Jan. 2, 1949, in Ligon, KY, to Bill and Draxie Caudill Newsome. She married Denver B. Hamilton, who preceded her in death.
Survivors include two sons, William (Betty) Hamilton, of Andrews, and Terry (Lori) Hamilton, of Johnson City, TN; a daughter, Sherry (Floyd) Easterday, of Shelbyville; a brother, David Newsome, of Huntington; three sisters, Violet Newsome, of Banner, and Carl Sue Hamilton and Geraldine Shaw, both of Huntington; five grandchildren, Stephanie (Dustin) Phares, Kayla Hamilton, Jonathon Easterday, Denver Hamilton and Emily Hamilton; and one great-grandchild.
A service was held on Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013, at Samaria Old Regular Baptist Church, Teaberry, KY. Burial was at Newman Cemetery, Hi Hat, KY.
Nelson Frazier Funeral Home, of Martin, KY, was in charge of arrangements.
