Billie Jo Lucas, 62, of Marion, IN, and having family members in Huntington County, IN, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at her home.
Mrs. Lucas was a homemaker and a lifelong Grant County resident. She was a member of and volunteer at Community Youth Outreach Church, Marion.
She was born Oct. 3, 1950, in Marion to George William and Mildred Pauline Drabenstot Havens. She married Johnny Lucas on Oct. 20, 2007, and he survives.
Additional survivors include two sons, Keith Goodpaster and David (Marcy) Goodpaster, both of Marion; a daughter, Holly (Allen) Burton, of Marion; four stepchildren, Randy Small, of Huntington County; Stacy (Paul) Swanner, of Gas City; Shannon Lucas, of Marion; and Chelsea Lucas, of Memphis, TN; a brother, George William Havens Jr., of Marion; a sister, Carol Diskey, of Marion; six grandchildren; five step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.
Calling is Friday, Feb. 22, 2013, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a service following at 1 p.m., at Needham-Storey-Wampner Funeral Service North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Ave., Marion. Burial will be at Grant Memorial Park, with Bishop Arthur Evans officiating.
