William C. 'Bill' Poulson

William C. "Bill" Poulson, 83, of Liberty Center, IN, and having family members in Warren, IN, died Monday, Feb. 11, 2013, at 10:38 p.m. at his home.

Mr. Poulson graduated from Liberty Center High School in 1947 and farmed in Wells County for more than 40 years. He served on the Liberty Center Volunteer fire Department for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Mt. Etna Masonic Lodge for more than 50 years.

He was born July 16, 1929, to Grover and Edna Rennaker Poulson. He married Donna Dee Detamore on July 7, 1950. His wife preceded him in death in 2000.

Survivors include two daughters, Shirley (Dennis) Markley, of Sun City, AZ, and Connie (Jeff) Whitesell, of Bluffton; two sons, Richard (Maureen) Poulson, of Atlanta, GA, and Michael (Judy) Poulson, of Berne; three brothers, Jim Poulson and Ira "Bob" Poulson, both of Liberty Center, and Dan Poulson, of Warren; three sisters, Frieda Finley, Mildred Gilbert and Ruth Brooks, all of Warren; eight grandchildren, Lydia Poulson, Stuart Poulson, Brian Poulson, Keith Poulson, Cory Allen, Cahli Allen, Nicole Williams and Trenton Markley; and eight great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Feb. 15, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. A service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service. Rev. Scott Nedberg will officiate. Interment will be at Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Huntington County.
