Cecile 'Cec' Michell

Cecile "Cec" A. Michell, 104, of Fort Wayne, IN, and a native of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013.
Mrs. Michell graduated from Clear Creek High School, Huntington County, and from International Business College, Fort Wayne. She worked as a secretary at General Electric for 13 years and at Forest Park United Methodist Church for 35 years. She had been a member of the church since 1940. She was a member of Pi Omicron National Educational and Philanthropic Sorority since 1935 and had served in several national offices.
She was born Nov. 17, 1908, in Huntington County to Mr. and Mrs. Francis Morrow. She married James S. Michell in 1941, and he preceded her in death in 1999.
Survivors include two sons, D. Keith (Sue) Michell, of Fort Wayne, and W. Robert "Bob" (Maurine) Michell, of Garden Grove, CA; a daughter, Sharon A. (Pedro) Ledo, of Fort Wayne; a sister, Geneva Motz, of White Lake, MI; 10 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren.
Calling is Tuesday, Jan. 29, 2013, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Lakeside Park Funeral Home, 1140 Lake Ave., Fort Wayne. A service will be held on Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2013, at 11 a.m., with calling one hour prior to the service, at Forest Park United Methodist Church, 2100 Kentucky Ave., Fort Wayne. Rev. Brenda Ginder will officiate.
