Marjorie J. Dillard, 82, of Muncie, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Dec. 31, 2012, at Morrison Woods Health Campus, in Muncie.
Mrs. Dillard, a resident of the Roann area until moving to Muncie in 1992, had been employed by Dick's Trading Post in Wabash and was an Avon representative in the Roann area. She was a member of University Christian Church, in Muncie, and was a former long-time member of the Bachelor Creek Church of Christ, in Wabash.
She was born July 4, 1930, in Wabash County to Harold and Edna Laonora Yentes Richardson. She married William E. Dillard on Nov. 23, 1946, in Roann. He preceded her in death on Aug. 28, 2000.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Nancy Dillard, of Muncie; a brother, Donald (Beverly) Richardson, of North Manchester; a sister, Eleanor Mattern, of Huntington; two grandchildren, Cassandra (Jeremiah) Kinney, of Evansville, and Greggory (Rachel) Dillard, of Pennsburg, PA; and five great-granddaughters.
Calling is Monday, Jan. 7, 2013, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Grandstaff-Hengen Funeral Service, 335 S. Chippewa Road, Roann. A service will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, Jan. 8, 2013, at 11:30 a.m., with Rev. Steve Huddleston officiating. Burial will be at Roann Community Cemetery.
