Robert L. Boze

Robert L. Boze, 87, of Roanoke, died Sunday, Dec. 9, 2012.

Mr. Boze worked for Dana for 33 years, retiring in 1980. He was a member of Dunfee Missionary Church. He served in World War II with the United States Army.

He was born in Union City and was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert Boze and Marie Pratt Ludwig. He is survived by his wife, Marjorie.

Additional survivors include two sons, Rod Boze, of Fort Wayne, and Eric (Patricia) Boze, of Huntington; two daughters, Karla Boze and Gayla (Rodney) Reilley, both of Fort Wayne; a brother Harold (Helen) Boze, of Brooksville, FL; a sister, Betty Neff, of Greenville, OH; two grandchildren, Jeremy (Kim) Reilley and Shannon (Mark) Poyser; a foster grandson, Jeff (Ashlee) Trammel; three great-grandchildren; and five foster great-grandchildren.

Calling is Thursday, Dec. 13, 2012, from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls funeral Home, 8325 Covington Rd., Fort Wayne. A service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, Dec. 14, 2012, at 11 a.m., with Rev. Jerry Blanchard and Rev. Dennis Rowe officiating. Burial will be at Covington Memorial Gardens.

Preferred memorials are gifts to Dunfee Missionary church, Visiting Nurse & Hospice Home or Alzheimer's Association.
