Earl Dale Harris, 56, of Urbana, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Monday, Nov. 26, 2012, at 6:06 a.m. of injuries suffered in a traffic accident in Huntington County.
Mr. Harris graduated from Wabash High School and was a veteran of the United States Army, serving in Honolulu, HI. He worked as a poker dealer in casinos and had lived in Las Vegas, NV; San Diego and San Francisco, CA; and Albuquerque, NM.
He was born on Feb. 23, 1956, in Wabash to Francis Earl and Rose Agnes Bellock Harris.
Survivors include two daughters, Anita Harris, of Odessa, MO, and Angela (Adam) Haut, of Kenosha, WI; two brothers, John Harris, of Urbana, and Larry Harris, of Wabash; six sisters, Sue (Bob) White and Linda Leach, both of Wabash; Nancy (Herb) Derryberry, of Logansport; Karen Keenan, of Covington, KY; Patty (Frank) Hoagland, of Urbana; and Marijane (Jay) Setser, of Huntington; and a granddaughter, Bentley J. Haut, of Kenosha, WI.
Calling is Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012,from noon to 2 p.m., with a service following at 2 p.m., at McDonald Funeral Home, 231 Falls Ave., Wabash. Herb Derryberry will officiate. Burial will be at a later date.
