Barry E. Crawford

Barry E. Crawford, 54, of Waterloo, IN, and having family members in Huntington, IN, died Sunday, Nov. 25, 2012, at his home.

Mr. Crawford graduated from Huntington North High School in 1976. He had been employed as a truck driver for SAIA Motor Freight. He was a member of the Auburn Church of Christ and the Roanoke American Legion.

He was born June 19, 1958, in Huntington to Roy and Bonnie Berry Crawford. His mother survives in Roanoke. He married Darlene Buchs on Dec. 12, 2009, in Auburn. His wife survives.

Additional survivors include a son, Tanner Crawford, of Huntington; a daughter, Christina Fawler, of Oklahoma; a sister, Becky (David) Hitzfield, of Fort Wayne; three brothers-in-law, John (Lana) Buchs and Bill (Amy) Buchs, both of Waterloo, and Tom (Amy) Buchs, of Angola; and two grandchildren, Haley Fawler and Trevor Fawler, both of Oklahoma.

Calling is Saturday, Dec. 1, 2012, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a service following at 11 am., at the Auburn Church of Christ, 208 W. 18th St., Auburn. Joe Heins will officiate at the service.

Preferred memorials are gifts to the family for medical expenses or to the DeKalb County Humane Shelter.
