Hank Firnhaber

Hank Firnhaber, 79, of Huntington, IN, died Saturday, Nov. 17, 2012, at 12:29 p.m. at his residence.

Mr. Firnhaber was a retired industrial engineer. He served in the United States Marine Corps and was a Korean War Veteran.

He was born May 4, 1933, in New Britain, CT, to Henry John Firnhaber and Theresa Wratney Firnhaber. He married Maxine Morphis on Aug. 14, 1982. She survives in Huntington, IN.

Additional survivors are three daughters, Star (Wayne) Bricker and Faith Maupin, both of Fort Wayne, and Dawn (Richard) Madden, Lake City, FL; a stepdaughter, Dolores (Paul) Louallen, of Ewing, KY; a stepson, Joseph (Brenda) Neulieb Jr., of Dallas, TX; two sisters, Grace (John) Fuller, of New Britain, CT, and Betty Buffington, of Mawah, NJ; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Calling is Tuesday, Nov. 20, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., with a funeral service following at 11, at McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington. Rev. Amos Albright will officiate. Burial will be in Marion National Cemetery, Marion.

Preferred memorials are to Family Life Care Hospice or Huntington Baptist Church, in care of McElhaney-Hart Funeral Home, 715 N. Jefferson St., Huntington, IN 46750.
