Norma J. Shideler

Norma Jean Shideler, 80, of Warren, IN, died Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012, at 2:34 p.m. at Rolling Meadows Health Care, in LaFontaine.

Mrs. Shideler attended Solid Rock United Methodist Church, Warren. She worked in the laundry department of the United Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, for 19 years and was a member of the Red Hatters Association.

She was born July 13, 1932, in Huntington to Russell and Zeph Winkler. She married Marvin J. Shideler on Dec. 24, 1949, in Mt. Etna. Her husband preceded her in death on April 17, 1986.

Survivors include a son, Jeffrey Shideler, of Warren; a daughter, Debra (George) Kegg, of Warren; eight grandchildren, Krystal Carper, of Ashley; Tasha Legg, of Wabash; George "Alan" Kegg and Shelby Bauman, both of Huntington; Travis Kegg, Hannah Shideler and Gage Shideler, all of Warren; and David Bauman, of Convoy, OH; and two great-grandchildren.

Calling is Friday, Nov. 9, 2012, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., with a service following at 3 p.m., at Glancy-H. Brown & Son Funeral Home, 203 N. Matilda St., Warren. Rev. Doug Sharrard will officiate.
