USF to offer scholarships to high school seniors on Dec. 3

The University of Saint Francis School of Creative Arts (SOCA) will award scholarships to high school seniors during Talent Day on Friday, Dec. 3 in the Mimi and Ian Rolland Center for Art and Visual Communication.

Talent Day gives high school seniors with an interest in art, communication or music the opportunity to submit a portfolio for review and/or audition for scholarship consideration.

Areas of scholarship consideration include art history, music technology, studio art, communication arts and graphic design, art education, computer art, communication, Jazz Ensemble, Pep Band, drum line and the University Singers.

High school juniors are welcome to be reviewed and receive advice in preparation for their senior year.
Scholarships are renewable for eight semesters, with an appropriate GPA, and can be added to a student's academic scholarships or need-based grants.

Talent Day reviews and auditions are by appointment.
