College fair at MC on Sept. 29

High school students will meet representatives from 37 colleges, universities and technical schools at the 2010 Wabash County College Fair on Wednesday, Sept. 29, at Manchester College in North Manchester.

The free event is open 6:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

All high school students and their families are invited. No reservations are necessary for the event, to be held in the College Union on the east side of campus.

Representatives will have information about academics and areas of study, athletics, financial aid, admissions requirements, scholarships, extracurricular activities and other opportunities at their colleges and universities.

Schools sending representatives are: Albion College, Ancilla College, Anderson University, Baker College, Ball State University, Bethel College, Bluffton University, Butler University, Calvin College, Defiance College, Franklin College, Hanover College, Hope College, Huntington University, Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis, Indiana State University, Indiana Tech and Indiana University campuses at Bloomington and Kokomo.

Also, Indiana University-Purdue University at Fort Wayne, Indiana Wesleyan University, International Business College, ITT Technical Institute, Ivy Tech Community College, Juniata College, Kettering University, Manchester College, Marian University, Purdue College of Technology Kokomo, Purdue University (West Lafayette), Purdue University North Central, Saint Joseph's College, Saint Mary-of-the-Woods College, Trine University, University of Findlay, University of Southern Indiana and Wabash College.
