The Youth Services Bureau, located at 1344 Maple Drive in Huntington, has free activity packets for pre-school, elementary and middle school age children.

The packets include craft ideas, activity pages and local resources.

“We wanted to help children and parents have fun activities while they are staying at home,” says Crystal Kish, Safe Place coordinator.

The packets can be picked up anytime by entering door 2 at the office. The packets are clearly marked with the appropriate age.

The agency is also available for parents who are seeking community resources or just need a person with whom to talk.

“The Safe Place crisis line is still fully operational for youth 18 years or younger who need immediate access to support during crisis,” Kish says.
