School corporation closes all school offices

Huntington County Community School Corporation has closed all school offices effective Tuesday, March 24, following the issuance of the “Stay at Home” order by Gov. Eric Holcomb.

Building administrators and central office employees will be working remotely and may be contacted through email. A staff directory can be found on the HCCSC website, hccsc.k12.in.us, under the “Departments” tab.

Grab & Go meals provided by HCCSC will still be available for children age 18 and under on Thursday, March 26, and Thursday, April 2.

Meals will be offered pending the availability of food supplies.

Grab & Go meals may be picked up at any of these locations:

• Andrews Elementary School, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Huntington North High School, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

• Roanoke Elementary School, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

• Salamonie Elementary School, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Children must be present when picking up the meals.

Grab & Go meals will not be available on April 9 or April 16.

Holcomb has announced that all upcoming spring state assessments have been canceled.
