‘German Christmas’ will be held Dec. 22 at school

A German Christmas will be celebrated at the Old German School on Sunday, Dec. 22, at 6:30 p.m.

A wild cedar tree will be decorated with ornaments from Germany. The Christmas Story will be read in German and English and there will be group singing of the traditional Christmas carols.

Hot spiced cider will be served.

The evening will close with the singing of “Stille Nacht” by candlelight.

The event is free and the public is invited.

The Old German School is located at 3995N-1000W, or three miles north of U.S.-24 on the Huntington-Wabash County Line Road.
