2nd annual Progressive Dinner at Forks of Wabash

The Historic Forks of the Wabash presents its second annual Progressive Dinner on Saturday, Sept. 21.

Participants will have the opportunity to partake of a full four-course dinner served in four different venues. The featured foods will showcase produce that would have been available to settlers in the 1840s.

Each course will be served in a different building, starting at the log Nuck House built in 1847. Then participants will move on on to the schoolhouse and the Richardville Room, finishing with desserts in the Chief’s House.

Musicians playing period appropriate music will be at each location.

Reservations are required for each of the four start times and are limited to 30 guests per seating. Seatings are at 5:30 p.m., 6 p.m., 6:30 p.m. and 7 p.m. It is recommended that guests arrive 15 minutes before their start time.

There is a cost for the event. Proceeds go to support programs at the Forks. To make reservations call the office Monday through Friday between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at 356-1903 for tickets and information.

The Historic Forks of the Wabash is located at 3011 W. Park Drive, Huntington.
