Salamonie preschool program set for Sept. 10

Preschool-age children and their adults are invited to Salamonie Preschool’s “B is for Bark” on Tuesday, Sept. 10.

The class will be offered from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. at Salamonie Interpretive Center in Lost Bridge West State Recreation Area, Andrews.

Youngsters can compare the “skin” of various trees as they learn about these giants in the woodland.

Each program is designed to enhance the preschooler’s basic education, including music, crafts, social interaction and time outdoors, always with a nature-related theme.

There is a small program fee per child. Advance registration is appreciated. Those interested can register by calling Upper Wabash Interpretive Services at 468-2127.
