Forks of the Wabash Uncorked this Friday evening

Forks of the Wabash Uncorked, a wine and beer-tasting event hosted by the Historic Forks of the Wabash, is set for Friday, July 12, from 5:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

The Historic Forks and Huntington Area Recreational Trails Association team up to put on the event, now in its fourth year, which is a fund-raiser for both entities.

In addition to beverages from several wineries and breweries, attendees will be able to enjoy food from local food trucks.

The event will also feature live music, provided by the Farmland Jazz Band, and a silent auction. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs.

Aside from the Historic Forks, parking will be available at several locations in the vicinity of the Forks, with free shuttle service provided from those locations.

There is a fee for sampling tickets and a reduced fee for designated driver tickets. Sampling tickets include the following: souvenir wine glass, tasting program, samples from every winery and brewery table, the opportunity to purchase glasses and bottles from favorite tables and appetizers. Designated driver tickets include non-alcoholic beverages.

To purchase tickets, visit and search “Forks of the Wabash.” Tickets will also be available for purchase the day of the event at the entrance.
