Associate Professor of Pyschology Dr. Rebekah Benjamin was selected the favorite faculty member by the Huntington University Class of 2019.

The announcement was made Tuesday, May 7, at Forester Night, sponsored by the HU Student Government Association.

Although faculty and staff chose most of the evening’s awards recipients, graduating undergraduates had the opportunity to select the winners of the night’s three final awards: 2019 Male Forester of the Year, 2019 Female Forester of the Year and 2019 Professor of the Year.

This spring, students nominated and then voted on their choices for the male and female student who they felt represent the Forester spirit and are stellar examples of the Class of 2019. The students chose Adrianna Holst as Female Forester of the Year and James Newton as Male Forester of the Year.

Holst received her Bachelor of Science in business marketing. She is from Columbia City, Newton, of Peoria, IL, received a Bachelor of Science in animation.
