HCTA awards scholarships to 4 from HNHS

The Huntington County Teacher Association (HCTA) has awarded scholarships to four Huntington North High School seniors.

This scholarship was available to students with a parent who is a member of HCTA. Applicants’ academic achievements and service were considered.

Scholarships were awarded to John Groves, Clark Kitchen, Jarrett Ocken and Benjamin Stoffel.

Groves is the son of Jamie and Jodie Groves. He plans to attend Purdue University and study aeronautical engineering.

Kitchen is the son of Peter and Elizabeth Kitchen. He will attend Ball State University and study telecommunications and sports media. He aspires to become a journalism professor.

Ocken is the son of Jay and Lyn Ocken. He plans to attend Purdue University and study organizational leadership polytechnic.

Stoffel is the son of Annette Stoffel-Little and Mike Stoffel. He will attend Trine University and study civil engineering. He aspires to become an engineer.
