Banks on subcommitte leadership for vets’ affairs

On Thursday, Jan. 31, Ranking Member Phil Roe, M.D. (R-TN) announced Rep. Jim Banks (R-IN) among his selections for Republican Subcommittee leadership of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs for the 116th Congress. Banks will be the ranking member of the Subcommittee on Technology Modernization.

The subcommittee leadership also consists of Rep. Gus M. Bilirakis (R-FL): ranking member, Subcommittee on Economic Opportunity; Rep. Mike Bost (R-Ill.): ranking member, Subcommittee on Disability Assistance and Memorial Affairs; Rep. Dr. Neal Dunn (R-FL): ranking member, Subcommittee on Health; and Rep. Jack Bergman (R-MI): ranking member, Subcommittee on Oversight and Investigations.

These members will be approved at a full committee organizational meeting which is yet to be scheduled.
