Leadership program is topic for HU Foundation

The Huntington County Leadership program is a resource to develop future leaders who foster community involvement.

On May 12, those attending the Huntington University Foundation's breakfast will hear firsthand how this program is benefiting the local community.

Chuck Grable, president of the board of directors for Huntington County Leadership, will give a brief history of the program, and then the nine graduates of the leadership academy will examine what they have learned from the program. The graduates will then present two class projects which are aimed at helping different aspects of the local community.

The public is invited to attend. The breakfast will begin at 7:45 a.m. in the Habecker Dining Commons and conclude by 9 a.m.

The Foundation's breakfast is held on the second Wednesday of every month during the school year.
