A portion of Etna Avenue that was closed between Waterworks Road and 200N re-opened on Tuesday, July 3.

The re-opening occurred 16 days ahead of schedule, said Anthony Goodnight, director of public works and engineering services, City of Huntington.

The closure went into effect on June 4. During that time, road improvements were made as part of the Etna Avenue Improvement Project.
