The Huntington County Community Foundation announces Shelli Goetz and Corinne Tester as recipients of 2018 Breiner Family University of Saint Francis Scholarships.

Goetz is a rising senior at Saint Francis working toward her Bachelor of Science in nursing, with aspirations to pursue a master’s degree and ultimately become a family nurse practitioner.

She lives in Huntington and attends Union Church.

Tester, a rising senior, is majoring in nutrition with a concentration in health exercise science and psychology.

She is the daughter of Holly and Todd Tester of Roanoke.

Tester continued her soccer playing career at Saint Francis, has made the dean’s list, and was recognized as an NAIA Scholar Athlete. Her community service focused on coaching at Saint Francis summer soccer camp, volunteering at Vincent Village in Fort Wayne along with her soccer teammates and sorting food at the Community Harvest Food Bank.

Jim and Nancy Breiner both graduated from the University of Saint Francis. They established this scholarship to help students attending the school that they enjoyed and that so enriched their lives, report HCCF officials.
