Carol Spallone, an Indiana master naturalist volunteer with ACRES Land Trust, points out features of song sparrows, including how to recognize its call during a program held Monday, May 7, at the Huntington Branch of the Huntington City-Township Public Library. The talk, which included several species of backyard birds and birds found on ACRES properties, promoted the upcoming Bird Blitz on June 3 through June 9.
