‘Wonder’ to be shown at next Wild Wednesday

The Huntington County Council on Aging invites people 50 and older to its next Wild Wednesday movie, on March 21, at Huntington 7 Theater, 350 Hauenstein Rd., Huntington.

The movie shown will be “Wonder.” Doors open at 8:30 a.m. and the program will begin at 9 a.m. There is a small admission charge. Free doughnuts, coffee and juice will be available as well as snack bar discounts. Door prizes will also be given away.

“Wonder” tells the true story of August Pullman, a boy with facial differences who attends fifth grade in a mainstream elementary school for the first time. Julia Roberts, Owen Wilson and Jacob Tremblay are featured.

Wild Wednesday partners are Huntington Senior Center, Markle Health and Rehabilitation and Norwood Health & Rehabilitation Center. Movie co-sponsors are Miller’s Merry Manor, Parkview Home Health & Rehabilitation and Campbell & Dye Insurance Agency. Door prize sponsor is Kentucky Fried Chicken Restaurant. Doughnut sponsors are the Wild Wednesday partners. Coffee sponsor is The Trading Post.
