Starter Calf ID Day at Hier’s Park on April 17

Huntington County 4-H Starter Calf identification will take place on Saturday, April 17, at Hier's Park.

Identification will be done in the cattle barns area, on the south side of the park.

All 4-H youth planning to exhibit in the starter calf project must bring their project animals.

Dairy and beef calves will be weighed, nose printed and tagged with an electronic identification ear tag between the hours of 9 and 11 a.m.

Forms were mailed to youth enrolled in the project.

However, if youth have not yet received the information, contact the County Extension Office as soon as possible.
