The Huntington Jaycees will hold auditions for this year's Renaissance Faire that will take place Memorial Day weekend May 27-31.

Adults, children ages 13 and up, and established acts are invited to come Monday, April 12 from 6 to 8 p.m. to the Hier's Park stage. Auditions for children ages 5 to 12 years old will be held on Tuesday April 13, also from 6 to 8 p.m. All minors will be required to have a parent's signed consent form to participate.

Those interested in auditioning may download the performance guidelines, audition and waiver forms from www.huntingtonren faire.com and bring them to the audition with an attached photo of themselves.
All forms must be completed and signed before the auditions. The Renaissance Faire is looking for a variety of performers: acrobats, tumblers, comedians, fire eaters, fortune tellers, tarot readers, hypnotists, jugglers, magicians, rope walkers, sword swallowers, and ventriloquists.

Actors, singers and dancers are needed to portray various faire characters, as well as fools, wenches, pirates and gypsies. Those performers with strong storytelling and public speaking abilities are also encouraged to audition.

More information and a list of these categories can be found on the audition form.
