Online voters bestow top tenderloin title on Huntington’s Nick’s Kitchen

Nick’s Kitchen, in Huntington, has the best tenderloin in Indiana, according to voters in an online contest sponsored by the Indiana Office of Tourism Development.

Nominees for the Best of Indiana Fall Awards were recommended by members of Indiana’s travel, tourism and hospitality industry. The public could vote for up to five nominees in each of three categories.

Voters picked the tenderloin at Dooley O’Toole’s in Hamilton County, for second place and the tenderloin at The Willard, in Franklin, for third place.

In the Best Indiana Fall Festival category, the West Side Nut Club Fall Festival, in Evansville, placed first; the Parke County Covered Bridge Festival was second; and Harvest Homecoming, in New Albany, was third.

The Lincoln Boyhood National Memorial, in Lincoln City, placed first in the Best Indiana Historic Destination category. The Monastery of the Immaculate Conception, in Ferdinand, placed second and the George Rogers Clark National Memorial, in Vincennes, was third.
