Concert on Oct. 22 will benefit Place of Grace

Trinity United Meth-odist Church, in Huntington, will host a concert on Sunday, Oct. 22, at 2 p.m. to benefit Place of Grace.

The concert will feature Huntington University music department faculty and students and the Huntington University Gospel Choir, with participation from St. Peter’s First Community Church.

Sharon Metzger, executive director of Place of Grace, will describe the ministry’s vision and some of its success stories.

Place of Grace is a Christian-based transition home for women moving from incarceration back into the Huntington community.

It opened earlier this year.

Admission to the concert is free. A free will offering to benefit Place of Grace will be received.

Trinity United Meth-odist Church is at 530 Guilford St., Huntington. Parking is accessible, as is the west entrance to the building.
