Andrews library adds Studio sessions to focus on art, science

Youth are invited to create at the Andrews-Dallas Township Public Library’s studio sessions on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.

Studio is a program now open to 9-year-olds and older that features art and science activities, games and snacks. On Tuesday, Oct. 17, tweens and teens will make and eat fondue. Future Studio sessions will include paper circuits, DIY fidget spinners and cookie decorating.

The monthly adult craft, “Crafts & Coffee,” will meet on Thursday, Oct. 19, at 5:30 p.m. Crafters this month will create a book lover’s fall leaf banner.

Registration and a small donation are requested. Supplies and beverages will be provided. Call the library at 786-3574 or email andrewsdirector@ gmail.com to register.

Monster Mayhem, on Tuesday, Oct. 24, at 6 p.m., is open to toddlers through fifth-graders. Activities will include crafts, monster cookies, a slime station and more. Fun costumes are welcome.
