‘Who is My Neighbor?’ series at Victory Noll

Victory Noll Center is offering an eight part series exploring the question “Who is My Neighbor?”

This question is found in the Gospel of Luke. Jesus was willing to engage everyone around him from fishermen to lepers, from the Samaritan woman to the Syro-Phoenician, from tax collectors to the poor widow. When asked, “Who is my neighbor,” Jesus offered a parable and then his own question: “Now who would you say was a neighbor … ?”

There is a cost for the sessions. Each session will include a light supper, a guest speaker, Lectio Divina, reflection and shared conversation. The purpose is to be formed to see with new eyes, as participants learn, pray, discern and live out their call to be a neighbor. Topics will include immigration and refugees, poverty, Islam, Judaism, Latinos and addictions.

Victory Noll Center is at 1900 W. Park Drive in Huntington. For more information call 200-1740, email info@victorynoll center.org or visit the website at www.victorynoll center.org.
