Brenda Kitt a candidate for Dallas Trustee

Brenda Kitt has announced that she is a candidate for the Republican nomination as Dallas Township Trustee.

The office would not be a new one for Kitt, who served one term as trustee for Dallas Township about 20 years ago.
Kitt has owned and operated Outdoor Outfitter for 18 years, which she says has given her a firm understanding of financial realities.

She has been a member of the Andrews-Dallas Township Library Board for 16 years and currently serves as the board's secretary, which has given her experience in working with budgets based on tax revenues. She also serves as treasurer of the UTU (United Transportation Union) Women's Auxiliary.

Kitt and her husband Kyle Kitt are residents of rural Andrews. They have two sons and a grandson.

She is a member of the Roann United Methodist Church and its women's society as well as a 30-year member of the Rebekah Lodge of Andrews.
