Freedom Riders set ride, family acivities Saturday

The Freedom Riders will hold their third annual benefit ride for Honor Flight Northeast Indiana on Saturday, May 20.

The ride begins at 11 a.m. at Memorial Park, in Huntington, with registration from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.

The ride is expected to last until 1:30 p.m.

The day will also include motorcycle games, food, a bake sale, vendors, a craft show and a silent auction, all at Memorial Park.

Vendor booths will be open from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Raffle tickets will be sold and silent auction bids will be taken from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. At 3 p.m., raffle winners and silent auction winners will be announced.

A live acoustic band will provide music from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. A DJ will take over at 2 p.m. and motorcycle games start at 2:30 p.m.

JB’s Cuisine Machine will be at the park all day selling food.

Proceeds from the event will help pay to send area veterans to Washington, DC, to reflect at their memorials.
