Parkview Huntington Hospital wins workplace award

Parkview Huntington Hospital is one of seven Parkview Health hospitals honored for its participation in the Workplace Partnership for Life Hospital Campaign, which encourages employees to register as organ donors.

The campaign ran from May 1, 2015, to April 30, 2016. Parkview Huntington was awarded Platinum status for hosting enrollment events and activities aimed at registering organ donors and raising awareness of the importance of organ donation.

More than 200 hospitals and health systems nationwide joined the Indiana Donor Network in the campaign, which was sponsored by the Division of Transplantation, Health Resources Services Administration, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.

Parkview Regional Medical Center and Parkview LaGrange, Park-view Noble, Parkview Whitley and Parkview Wabash hospitals also earned Platinum status, while Parkview Hospital Randallia earned Gold status.
