Applications being taken for scholarship

Huntington County HELP, Inc. for Disabled Citizens will award a scholarship in memory of the late board member John Decker.

The John Decker Memorial Scholarship, in the amount of $1,500, will be awarded to a Huntington county resident who is a high school senior or a student enrolled as a full-time or part-time student in post high school studies who has or has had a physical or learning disability.
Disability must be documented with an IEP, a client of Vocational Rehabilitation Services, or a physician's letter.

Applications are available at Bippus State Bank, Huntington location, during regular business hours.  
Completed applications must be postmarked by March 31 to be considered.

Recipients will be notified on or around April 30.
