Roanoke woman earns Doermer Distinguished Scholarship at IPFW

Caroline Landrigan, of Roanoke, has been awarded the Doermer Distinguished Scholarship by Indiana University-Purdue University Fort Wayne.

The award is a full ride scholarship to IPFW for four years, as well as an international business travel experience at no expense.

The Doermer Distinguished Scholarship is awarded to a student majoring in business, which is Landrigan’s intended ma-jor. The recipient is paired with a faculty mentor and a mentor in the business community.

Recipients are also invited to attend Business Advisory council and Alumni council meetings and other events, allowing them the opportunity to network with leaders in the business community.

Landrigan will graduate this spring from Homestead High School, where she is a member of the National Honor Society and The Network, serves as a student ambassador and is an assistant to the nurses.
