Deadline for assessment forms is May 15

Personal property assessment forms for businesses, farmers, churches and exempt entities must be filed in the Huntington County Assessor’s office no later than May 15, Huntington County Assessor Terri Boone has announced. No extensions will be granted.
In addition, taxpayers who filed for the under $20,000 exemption last year must file again this year.
Forms may be picked up in the county assessor’s office, located on the first floor of the Huntington County Courthouse, Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The staff of the county assessor’s office can provide assistance in filling out the forms.
