Senate hopeful to speak at local TEA Party meeting

Richard Behney, who plans to run for the United States Senate seat of Evan Bayh this year, will be at the Huntington TEA Party meeting on Jan. 15 at Life Church, 950 E. State St. from 7 to 9 p.m. He joins a list of other speakers.

Behney has been politically involved since the fall of 2008, when he volunteered for the Hamilton County Republican party. In February 2009, he took part in the Chicago TEA Party and in March of the same year, he is said to have founded two movements in Indianapolis - "Indy Defenders of Liberty" and the Indianapolis TEA Party.
