Angela Minick and her children, Gabbie and Eli, have been selected to participate in the Boys & Girls Clubs of America’s Triple Play Fit Family Challenge.
Triple Play is the Boys & Girls Club’s signature health and wellness program.

The Minicks were among 25 families selected from hundreds of applicants, and the only family selected from Indiana.

Participating families are challenged to incorporate Triple Play principles into their lives over a period of three to six weeks. They learn to practice healthy eating habits, be more physically active and spend quality time with each other.

The Minicks are submitting a weekly log of their progress, which has included adding exercise to their routine, switching from 2 percent to 1 percent milk and focusing on healthier eating habits.

On Nov. 19, Minick led a session at the Boys & Girls Club, teaching participants how to make healthy wraps at home.

The top five families in the program will win a trip to Florida to compete in the Triple Play Fit Family Challenge Finale.
