Storm cleanup

Photo provided.

Crossroad Connections volunteers (from left) Ed Sessney, Jim Winters and Jim Sprowl replace siding on a home in Grant County that was damaged by a tornado last fall. Crossroad Connections assembled a team of volunteers from Sunnycrest Baptist Church, in Marion, and Mt. Etna United Methodist Church, in Huntington County, that spent Saturday, April 19, helping the home's occupants with cleanup and repairs. Crossroad Connections is a non-profit organization that connects people with others going through hard times, and this was its first major project in Grant County since opening an office there. Crossroad Connections was founded in Huntington County by Valerie Fields, who serves as its director.
